How is the space cleaned/sanitized?
For sanitization, we “fog” the entire space with Oxivir and we hand-wipe any high-touch surfaces. Oxivir is an approved COVID-19 disinfectant but also non-corrosive and non-irritating. We also use the professional company, Enviromaster, for biweekly sanitization.
What furniture is provided in the party room?
Cary: Each party room comes with 2 tables, a serving buffet, a birthday throne, kids chairs and adult chairs. The tables can be raised to kid height or adult height. We also have 2 high chairs available.
Raleigh: We have one larger party room with multiple tables along the wall for food, gifts, beverages, etc., seating around the room for adults, and 30 chairs for kids. We also have 2 high chairs available.
We will set up all furniture and add-ons based on your selections and headcount prior to your arrival, so the room is ready to go when you arrive! You are also welcome to decorate and set up food up front in our cafes.
Will there be staff to help with the party?
The day of the party, there will be two staff members available to help with café drinks, furniture arrangement and general assistance with spills or questions. We do not direct your event but we are happy to provide a suggested timeline if requested. Guests are responsible for supervising their children and any decorating.
Are older children allowed to play?
Of course! Our space is designed for younger kids (ages 6 and under) but we have had plenty of older siblings and cousins play and have a blast.
Are decorations provided?
Our rooms are a blank canvas for any theme. You are welcome to bring and put up your own decorations or choose from our a-la-carte decorations available for purchase.
Can we arrive early to decorate?
All three of our party packages include 30 minutes of setup time on the front-end, and 30 minutes on the back-end of breakdown. We offer extra time in 30 minute increments for $75 per 30 minutes, subject to availability.
Effective July 1, 2025, we combined packages across both locations, so if you booked a Standard or Deluxe party in Cary prior to that date, your booking will be honored - you get 30 minutes of set-up time for the Standard, and 1 hour of set-up time for the Deluxe package.
Do we clean up after our party?
All you need to do is take your items you brought with you when you leave. Bumble Brews staff will handle remaining clean up.
Can we bring our own alcohol?
Our ABC permit does not allow for outside alcohol. Our café and bar will be fully open to your guests for purchase.
How much is the deposit?
We require a $100 deposit to reserve your party time.
Can I change locations after I book?
Changing locations is easy! Just let us know if you'd like to change and we can make the switch, subject to availability. There is no additional deposit or fee you need to pay.
Can I change my party package after I book?
We know that it's hard to plan for how many guests will come, so we offer complete flexibility to change your party package prior to your party. If you're changing between the Honeycomb and Whole Hive (our private packages), you can do that at any point, even the day of your party.
If you are changing to or from the Basic Bee (our semi-private package where we remain open to the public), we would need to know 4 days before your party at the latest, so this gives us time to update our Open Play hours to the public.
Is gratuity included?
Gratuity is not included in our pricing, but tips are always appreciated due to the effort our staff puts forth in making sure your party goes as smoothly as possible and cleaning up.
